Do you ever just meet a group of people and instantly know that they’re going to be a blast to be around? That’s exactly what happened as soon as the Tokunaga family walked up to me for their Folsom Lake family session! Their smiles and energy were immediately contagious and I just knew it was going to be an amazing session. The Tokunagas laughed so much and it was an absolute joy to capture the way they love one another!
As much as I love photographing families with littles, there’s something really special about capturing a family whose children have grown. Walking around Folsom Lake with the Tokunagas for their family session made me excited for my own daughter to grow up- and I can only hope that when that happens, we have a relationship like the Tokunagas do!
