As soon as Kelsey told me that she and Greg wanted to showcase murals from Sacramento’s Wide Open Walls in their engagement session, I knew I was in for something special; but these murals exceeded my wildest hopes! Kelsey narrowed her favorites down to twelve and from there we mapped out a route that would take us to six of them. We also made sure to stop by one of my favorite, neutral backdrops on R. Street. And since Kelsey and Greg met in Sacramento, these murals were the perfect backdrop for their engagement session!
We’re so lucky to live in a city that values local artists- be sure to check out the artists of these murals:
-Laurelin Gilmore
-Bordalo II
-Normaste
-Caratoes
-Jessie + Katey
-Kinetik Ideas
I’m a wife, mom, Gryffindor, and photographer based in Northern California. I’m obsessed with all stages of Happily Ever After and capturing the in-between of people loving each other. I believe that the true magic of photography coexists with the posing; it’s in the forehead kisses, the giggles over unsaid jokes, and the blissful feeling of you & your partner cuddling your newborn baby on your couch; it’s in the way your dad looks at you when he sees you in your wedding dress, and the way your daughter laughs when you tickle her tummy. I’m currently booking for 2022 and would LOVE to chat more- be sure to reach out on my contact page or come say hi on Instagram!
