During our consult, Suzy and Joey let me know that they really wanted their engagement photos to feel authentic to them as a couple: casual, reflective of their newly-grown family, and in a place they love. So when we decided on a morning, Sacramento engagement session while wandering the Ice Blocks, I knew we were going to have an amazing time!
As a Sacramento native, I love shooting Sacramento engagement sessions. But my favorite part of Suzy and Joey’s session was that they brought their son along for the morning! To have him along to share in the celebration of his parents’ engagement was so special. We started at Philz Coffee, continued on to Milk Money for donuts, and walked around the R. St area to capture some shots of them in one of my favorite areas of Sacramento.
