Extended family photo sessions are near and dear to my heart. Ever since I had a daughter of my own, I’ve really understood the magic of having photos with all of the generations in a family!
Daniel and his family traveled to Sacramento from the bay area so they could take photos with his parents and grandmother, and it was such an honor to capture them. We met at the Sacramento succulent garden, which is one of my favorite places to shoot families; not only is the backdrop beautiful, but it’s also fully accessible for anyone using strollers, wagons, canes, or wheelchairs!
We happened to catch the garden on a cloudy day in Sacramento, and it made for the perfect setting for their photos. From a spunky 5-year-old and the sweetest grandparents, all the way to the kindest great-grandmother, this was a very special session indeed.
I’m a wife, mom, Gryffindor, and photographer based in Northern California. I’m obsessed with all stages of Happily Ever After and capturing the in-between of people loving each other. I believe that the true magic of photography coexists with the posing; it’s in the forehead kisses, the giggles over unsaid jokes, and the blissful feeling of you & your partner cuddling your newborn baby on your couch; it’s in the way your dad looks at you when he sees you in your wedding dress, and the way your daughter laughs when you tickle her tummy. I’m currently booking for 2022 and would LOVE to chat more- be sure to reach out on my contact page or come say hi on Instagram!
