When A+G reached out to me about their maternity photos, they mentioned in passing that they’d heard great things about photographing in the purple flowers. What they didn’t know was that their timeline for a maternity session put them in the perfect window for those purple flowers to be blooming for them! We planned their session at Beeks Bight, and the Lupine made their appearance just in time.
If you caught the Lupine Superbloom at Beeks Bight last year, you might remember the mad dash to see them and all of the wild parking that came with it. But the three of us caught the blooms early this year! We were so, so lucky to have the area almost completely to ourselves; there were just a couple of other groups of people around us, but it was quiet enough to hear the bees and crickets in the blooms. There was something about it all that just culminated in the perfect, Spring backdrop for a maternity session!
A+G, it was such a pleasure to roam the blossoms with you. I’m so excited for you both and I can’t wait to meet Baby S. after their arrival! 💕
